This single-pole circuit breaker with neutral (1p+N) with a rated current of 40A is characterized by a D tripping characteristic. This means that it is designed to protect circuits with receivers generating high inrush currents during start-up – such as motors or transformers. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity Icn is 6kA at both 230V and 400V, ensuring safety in the event of a serious failure.

The ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker has a protection degree of IP20, which means protection against contact with fingers and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² (solid and stranded) provides installation flexibility. The width of the device, which is 2 modules, allows for efficient use of space in the switchgear cabinet. Additionally, the circuit breaker is adapted to work in a wide range of ambient temperatures (-25°C to +55°C) and frequencies (50/60 Hz).

Installation and additional possibilities

The design of the ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker has been designed for easy mounting on a TH35 rail. The possibility of supplying power from above and below, as well as double connection of the insulating busbar, increase the convenience for installers. Additional functionalities include the possibility of mounting auxiliary contacts (PS ETIMAT 10) and an overcurrent release (DA ETIMAT 10), which allows you to adapt the circuit breaker to specific application requirements. The contact position indicator and the possibility of sealing the on/off lever further increase the level of safety and control over the installation. The circuit breaker meets the standards IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2, which confirms its compliance with applicable safety standards.
