ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is a proven safety element in electrical installations – both in residential buildings, public facilities and industrial plants. It provides effective protection against the effects of short circuits and overloads, protecting electrical circuits and devices connected to them. Its compact design and mounting on a TH35 rail make installation and replacement easy.

Functionality and technical parameters

This single-pole circuit breaker with a rated current of 40A is characterized by a D characteristic, which means it reacts with a delay to short-term current surges. This makes it ideal for circuits with devices with high starting current, e.g. motors. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity Icn is 6kA at both 230V and 400V, which guarantees safety in the event of a failure. The circuit breaker is designed to operate in a wide range of ambient temperatures (-25°C to +55°C) and has a protection degree of IP20. The possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² provides flexibility when selecting the appropriate wire.
