ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is a proven protection element in electrical installations, used in both residential buildings and public and industrial facilities. Functionality and technical parameters

The ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is characterized by a rated current of 40A and has a D tripping characteristic, which means it reacts with a delay to short-term current surges – an ideal solution for circuits with devices with high inrush current, e.g. motors. The 3-pole plus neutral (3p+N) design provides comprehensive protection. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity Icn is 6kA at both 230V and 400V, which confirms its effectiveness in the event of a failure. A width of 4 modules simplifies installation in switchboards.

Installation and application

The ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is designed for mounting on a TH35 rail. It accepts solid and stranded wires with a cross-section from 1 mm² to 25 mm², which provides great flexibility when selecting supply wires. The IP20 degree of protection provides protection against finger contact, but does not protect against the ingress of water – therefore, the circuit breaker should be mounted in a protective housing. Thanks to its compact dimensions (installation depth 68mm), it will work even in limited switchboard space.
