Reducer HDPE 110x50 asymmetrical short, black color (HDPE sewerage) 367.561.16.1
System solution for HDPE sewage installations
The HDPE 110x50 short eccentric reducer is a professional component of the Geberit HDPE sewage system, designed for the seamless connection of pipes with different diameters in drainage and sewage installations. Made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) grade PE-80, it features an asymmetric eccentric design that allows for flexible adaptation to installation conditions while maintaining full connection tightness.
Design and technical parameters
The component has an outer diameter of 110 mm on the larger side and 50 mm on the smaller side, with a total length of 80 mm. The wall thickness of the larger connection is 4.3 mm, and the smaller is 3 mm, ensuring adequate mechanical strength while maintaining optimal installation flexibility. The working length of both connections is 35 mm and 37 mm respectively, allowing for secure seating within the piping system.
The asymmetric eccentric construction of the reducer allows for the compensation of height differences between pipe axes, eliminating the need for additional leveling elements. An arc angle of 0° ensures a straight transition between diameters, minimizing hydraulic losses in the medium flow.
Application and system compatibility
The reducer is an integral part of the Geberit HDPE pressure sewage system, used in building water drainage, conventional roof drainage, and vacuum installations. The system is suitable for residential and commercial buildings, as well as industrial and laboratory applications.
The HDPE material exhibits resistance to approximately 95% of standard bases, acids, and chemicals, making the reducer suitable for operation in aggressive industrial environments. Additionally, the polyethylene contains special UV-protective additives, allowing for multi-month outdoor storage without material degradation.
Installation and operation
The connection is achieved through butt welding or electrofusion using dedicated Geberit ESG 40/200 machines, ensuring a durable and leak-proof molecular bond of the material. The installation process does not require additional gaskets or sealing elements—tightness is achieved through direct welding of the plastic.
The design is intended for use in soil and concrete conditions, with the possibility of direct embedding in concrete without the risk of cracking or permanent deformation under installation or operational stresses. The high tensile strength of the material guarantees long-term connection stability even under variable temperature conditions and mechanical loads.
System compatibility with other Geberit HDPE components enables the creation of comprehensive sewage installations with high operational reliability.
