PEHD Reduction 63x50 – a compromise-free connection in the drainage system

This asymmetrical, short PEHD reduction with diameters of 63x50 mm is a key element of the Geberit HDPE drainage system. It enables precise connection of pipes with different diameters, ensuring the tightness and durability of the installation. Made of high-quality polyethylene (PE-80), it is characterized by corrosion resistance and mechanical damage resistance.

Durability and material resistance

The use of polyethylene (PE-80) in the production of this reduction guarantees not only high tensile strength, but also resistance to the action of most standard bases, acids and chemical substances – even up to 95%. In addition, the material is resistant to UV radiation, which allows for safe storage and outdoor use. The wall thickness of the connections (3 mm) ensures the solidity and longevity of the connection.

Assembly and application

The reduction is intended for butt welding or electrofusion welding, which requires the use of appropriate machines and tools. It is ideal for building wastewater drainage systems, roof drainage, industrial installations and in commercial and laboratory facilities. The possibility of laying in concrete expands the scope of its applications. Thanks to its properties, it works well in both gravity and vacuum systems.
