PEHD reducer 90x63 asymmetrical short, black color (HDPE sewerage) 366.571.16.1

Compact eccentric reducer for HDPE sewage systems

The PE-HD 90x63 short eccentric reducer is a precisely manufactured transition element in the Geberit HDPE sewage system, enabling the secure connection of pipes with diameters DN 90 and DN 60. Made of black PE-80 polyethylene, it ensures a reliable connection through butt welding or electrofusion.

Construction and technical parameters

The element, with an overall length of 80 mm, features an asymmetric design where the larger connection (DN 90/ø90mm) has a wall thickness of 3.5 mm, and the smaller connection (DN 60/ø63mm) has a thickness of 3 mm. The connection spigots with lengths of 35 mm (larger connection) and 37 mm (smaller connection) allow for secure welding while maintaining full connection tightness.

The PE-80 material guarantees high tensile strength and resistance to mechanical damage. The raw surfaces of the connections ensure optimal adhesion during the welding process. The straight eccentric reducer model allows for flexible installation routing while maintaining continuous medium flow.

Application in sewage systems

The reducer finds wide application in building water drainage, in both gravity installations and vacuum roof drainage systems. It is suitable for commercial facilities, industry, and laboratories where resistance to aggressive chemical environments is required.

The Geberit HDPE system enables the laying of pipes and fittings in concrete, soil, and bridge structures. The components withstand shocks, drops, and impacts without cracking or permanent deformation, making them ideal for demanding infrastructure applications.

Advantages of the HDPE system and environmental resistance

The polyethylene material contains special additives protecting against UV radiation, ensuring resistance to weather conditions and allowing for multi-month outdoor storage. The system shows resistance to approximately 95% of standard bases, acids, and chemicals, which expands its range of industrial applications.

The compact design of the reducer (80 mm length) minimizes hydraulic losses while maintaining the full functionality of the diameter transition. The black color of the component ensures discreet installation in various architectural conditions.
