PEHD eccentric reducer for sewage connections
The PEHD eccentric reducer with a diameter of 125×90 mm is a key element of sewage installations, enabling the efficient connection of pipes with different cross-sections in gravity wastewater drainage systems. The component made of PE-80 polyethylene ensures long-term durability.
Construction and materials
The reducer body is made of high-density polyethylene (PE-HD) grade PE-80, which is characterized by high tensile strength due to its material properties. The eccentric model with an overall length of 80 mm features asymmetrical connections: a larger one with an outer diameter of 125 mm (DN125) and a wall thickness of 4,9 mm, and a smaller one with an outer diameter of 90 mm (DN90) and a wall thickness of 3,5 mm.
Both ends are adapted for butt welding or electrofusion, with working lengths of 35 mm and 37 mm respectively for the larger and smaller connections. The surfaces remain in a raw state, without additional chemical protection.
Application and compatibility
The element belongs to the Geberit HDPE pressure sewage system. The system is suitable for installation in soil, concrete, and bridge structures.
The reducer enables the creation of leak-proof connections between pipes of different diameters while maintaining the continuity of the medium flow. This straight reducer model, without drain valves or air vents, focuses on the basic function of changing the pipeline cross-section.
Resistance and durability
The design is characterized by high resistance to UV radiation and approximately 95% of standard alkalis, acids, and chemicals. The PE-HD material contains special additives protecting against UV degradation, allowing for multi-month storage in open areas without loss of technical parameters.
The system withstands shocks, drops, impacts, and short-term pressure loads without cracking or permanent deformation. The element has no gaskets or additional components - tightness is ensured by the welding process between the working surfaces of the pipes and the reducer.
The KOMO certificate confirms compliance with Polish technical requirements for internal sewage installations in residential and commercial buildings.
