HDPE reduction (reducer) 75x63 – a reliable connection in the drainage system

This asymmetrical, short reducer made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with diameters of 75 mm and 63 mm is a key element in the construction of an efficient and durable drainage system. Designed to connect pipes of different diameters, it ensures smooth flow of media and minimizes the risk of blockages. Its black color makes it easy to identify in the installation.

Design and application

Made of high-quality polyethylene (PE-80), this reducer is characterized by high tensile strength and resistance to mechanical damage. It is ideal for use in Geberit HDPE drainage systems, but will also work in other installations using HDPE pipes. Thanks to its properties, it finds application in:

• draining water from buildings,
• roof drainage (both gravity and vacuum),
• industrial installations and commercial facilities,
• laying in the ground, concrete or during bridge construction.

The use of PE-80 material guarantees resistance to most standard alkalis, acids and chemical substances – even up to 95% – making it an ideal choice for demanding environments. In addition, the material is resistant to UV radiation, which allows for longer-term outdoor storage of elements.

Installation and characteristics

The reducer is designed for connection by butt welding or using electrofusion fittings – methods ensuring a tight and durable connection. Its eccentric model (asymmetrical) allows for optimal adaptation to the existing installation. The short construction facilitates installation in places with limited space. It is important to remember to properly prepare the connection surfaces – they should be clean and dry before welding. Working length of connection 1 is 35 mm and connection 2 - 37 mm. Wall thickness of both connections is 3 mm.
