Symmetrical PEHD reduction for drainage systems

This PEHD reduction (reducer) 110x50, made of high-density polyethylene (PE-80), is used to connect pipes of different diameters in drainage systems. It is an essential element when connecting smaller pipe sections to the main line, ensuring a tight and durable connection. The short, symmetrical design facilitates installation in tight spaces.

It finds application in both building and external installations – from draining water from the roof, through terrain drainage, to industrial systems. PE-80 material is characterized by high resistance to corrosion, chemicals (about 95% of standard bases and acids) and UV radiation, which guarantees long-term operation even in harsh weather conditions.

Construction and assembly

The reduction has sockets designed for welding/buttfusion, which ensures a durable and tight connection. The wall thickness of the connections – 4.3 mm for a diameter of 110 mm and 3 mm for a diameter of 50 mm – ensures adequate mechanical strength. The working length of the connections is 30 mm, and the total length of the reduction is 80 mm. Assembly requires the use of appropriate machines and tools for welding polyethylene.

It is important to maintain proper cleanliness of the surfaces before welding – removing contaminants is crucial for obtaining a durable connection. Thanks to the symmetrical design, the reduction can be used in any position.
