PEHD Reduction 75x50 – Reliable Connection in the Drainage System
This symmetrical reduction (reducer) made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with diameters of 75 mm and 50 mm is a key element in building efficient and durable drainage systems. Designed to connect pipes of different diameters, it ensures tightness and smooth flow of media. It is an indispensable element when changing the pipe diameter in an installation, allowing the system to be adapted to specific needs.
Durability and Material Resistance
Made of high-quality polyethylene (PE-80), the reducer is characterized by exceptional resistance to corrosion, the action of chemicals (approx. 95% of standard bases and acids) and UV radiation. This makes it ideal for use both indoors and outdoors – including laying in concrete. This material is also resistant to mechanical damage, guaranteeing long-lasting and trouble-free operation. High tensile strength ensures connection stability even under heavy loads.
Installation and Application
The reducer is designed for butt welding or electrofusion welding, which requires the use of specialized machines and tools. It is compatible with the Geberit HDPE drainage system, but can also be used with other systems based on HDPE. It finds application in:
- drainage of water from buildings,
- roof drainage installations (gravity and vacuum),
- terrain drainage,
- industrial applications,
- installations in concrete.
The reducer's short construction (length 80 mm, working connection length 30 mm) facilitates installation in places with limited space. The symmetrical shape allows for universal use regardless of the flow direction.
