Symmetrical PEHD reduction 75x56 – a reliable connection in the drainage system

This short, symmetrical reduction (reducer) made of high-density polyethylene (PEHD) with diameters of 75x56 mm is a key element of every Geberit HDPE pressure drainage system. It provides a smooth and tight connection of pipes with different diameters, allowing the installation to be adapted to specific conditions and needs. Its black color facilitates identification within the system.

Durability and material resistance

Made of high-quality polyethylene (PE-80), the reducer is characterized by exceptional tensile strength and resistance to chemical corrosion. It is resistant to the action of approximately 95% of standard alkalis, acids and chemicals, guaranteeing long-lasting and trouble-free operation even in difficult conditions. Additionally, the material is stabilized against UV radiation, allowing the elements to be stored outdoors for a longer time without losing their properties.

Installation and application

The reducer is intended for connecting PEHD pipes by butt welding or using electrofusion fittings. This ensures a durable, tight and resistant connection to mechanical loads. It is ideal for:

• Drainage of water from buildings
• Roof drainage installations (gravity and vacuum)
• Land drainage
• Industrial applications
• Laying in concrete – the Geberit HDPE system is fully compatible with this installation method.

The working length of the connections is 30 mm, and the wall thickness is 3 mm, which ensures the solidity of the structure. The outer diameter of connection pipe 1 is 75 mm, and the outer diameter of connection pipe 2 is 56 mm. The total length of the reducer is 80 mm.
