PEHD Reduction 125x75 – Symmetrical connection in the drainage system
This PEHD reduction (reducer), with diameters of 125 mm and 75 mm, is a key element of the Geberit HDPE drainage system. It is used to connect pipes of different diameters, allowing for smooth transition and optimization of flow in the installation. Its symmetrical design ensures even stress distribution and connection stability. Made of high-density polyethylene (PE-80), it is characterized by high resistance to mechanical and chemical damage.
Durability and material resistance
The reducer is made of polyethylene (PE), specifically grade PE-80, which guarantees its tensile strength and resistance to most standard bases, acids and chemicals – up to 95%. Additionally, the material is resistant to UV radiation, allowing for longer-term outdoor storage without loss of properties. This is particularly important for longer investments or outdoor work.
Application and installation
This element finds application in a wide range of installations: from draining water from buildings, through roof drainage systems, to industrial installations and commercial facilities. The possibility of embedding in concrete further expands its scope of use. Installation is carried out by butt welding or using electrofusion fittings – appropriate machines and tools are required. The short construction of the reducer facilitates installation in confined spaces. The working length of the connections is 30 mm, and the total length of the reducer is 80 mm. The outer diameter of the pipes is 125 mm and 75 mm respectively, and the wall thickness is 4.9 mm and 3 mm.
