This black, shielded flexible cable JZ-500-C is a reliable solution for medium mechanically loaded connections where flexibility and protection against electromagnetic interference are required. The cable is particularly recommended for use in mechanical engineering, control systems, signaling and measurement systems, as well as on production lines and conveyor belts. Thanks to the copper braid screen, it ensures stable signal transmission in environments exposed to interference.

Construction and user properties

The JZ-500-C cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-lasting and safe operation. Made of multi-wire copper core (class 5) covered with PVC insulation, it offers good flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. The cores are black with white numbers for easy identification, and in the 3-core version there is also a yellow-green protective core. Additionally, the cable has a copper braid screen to reduce electromagnetic interference. The outer jacket made of PVC TM2 provides resistance to abrasion and weathering.

This cable is resistant to oils, chemicals and UV radiation, making it an ideal choice for harsh working conditions. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not interfere with painting. It meets the safety requirements of DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1, confirming its self-extinguishing and flame-retardant properties.

Technical parameters and scope of application

The JZ-500-C cable has a core cross-section of 2.5 mm², rated voltage of 500 V and permissible operating temperature from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.8 mm. It is intended for laying in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors - however, it cannot be laid directly in the ground or in water. Thanks to its high flexibility, it is ideal for movable connections and dynamic applications. Compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) guarantees safe use.
