Flexible shielded cable for industrial and control applications

This black, shielded flexible cable JZ-500-C is a reliable solution for electrical connections in demanding conditions. The cable is designed for medium mechanical load, providing flexibility and durability in applications such as control, signaling and measurements in mechanical engineering, especially in production lines and conveyor belts. Thanks to the copper braid screen, it minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial for the proper operation of devices.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on a multi-wire copper core (class 5) insulated with special PVC (Z 7225). The cores are black with white numbers for easy identification. From 3 cores upwards, the cable has a yellow-green protective core. Additionally, the cable is resistant to oils, chemicals and UV radiation, which increases its lifespan and range of applications. The outer jacket made of special PVC (TM2) provides additional protection against mechanical damage and weathering.

Operating parameters and compliance with standards

The JZ-500-C cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation. The rated voltage is 500V. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). It also has a certificate of compliance with fire resistance standards IEC 60332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2. The minimum bending radius is 10x cable diameter during flexible operation and 5x diameter during fixed installation. The cross-section of the core is 0.5 mm². The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 6.8 mm.
