This black, shielded flexible cable JZ-500-C is a solid solution for medium mechanically loaded installations where flexibility and protection against interference are required. This cable, made of high-quality materials, provides reliable connections in various environments – from dry rooms to external atmospheric conditions. Thanks to the copper braid screen, it minimizes the risk of electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in control and measurement systems.

Construction and properties

The JZ-500-C cable is characterized by a careful construction, ensuring long-lasting and safe operation. Multi-strand and twisted copper conductors (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295) guarantee good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. PVC Z 7225 insulation provides effective electrical protection, and black conductors with white numbers facilitate identification during installation. Additionally, the cable has an insulating foil and a screen of bleached copper wires (coverage approx. 85%), which increases its resistance to interference. The outer jacket made of special PVC TM2 (RAL 9005 color) protects the cable from mechanical damage and the effects of atmospheric factors.

The cable is resistant to oils, chemicals and UV radiation, which expands its range of applications. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not disrupt painting. It meets the safety requirements of DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1 (flame retardancy test).

Technical parameters and application

The JZ-500-C cable with a conductor cross-section of 1 mm² is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 500 V. It can be used at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (during installation). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 8 mm. Thanks to its construction and properties, it is perfect for mechanical engineering – in control, signaling and measurement systems for production lines and conveyor belts. It is also a good choice for installation in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors (excluding direct laying in the ground or water).
