Control and power cable – reliability and flexibility in every application
This grey PVC cable OZ-500 with 12 cores of 1.5 mm² cross-section is a versatile solution for both professional installers and end users. It is ideal for control and power installations where flexibility and resistance to environmental conditions are required. Cores numbered according to DIN VDE 0293-334 facilitate identification and connection, and the solid construction ensures long-lasting and safe operation.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC), both as core insulation and external coating. The multi-wire copper cores (class 5) are characterized by high flexibility, which facilitates cable routing even in tight spaces. A special PVC mixture provides resistance to abrasion, oils and many chemicals – which is particularly important in industrial environments. The cable has a rated voltage of 300/500 V and is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and -15°C to +80°C during installation. Fire reaction class Eca provides additional safety in the event of a fire.
Applications and benefits
The OZ-500 cable is ideal for:
- Control installations: in machines and industrial equipment where flexibility and connection reliability are required.
- Powering devices: for connecting control and measuring instruments and other electrical devices with medium power consumption.
- Internal systems: in dry, wet and damp rooms (but not outdoors).
- Applications requiring chemical resistance: in environments exposed to oils, lubricants and other aggressive substances.
Thanks to its construction, this cable is characterized by:
- High flexibility: facilitates cable routing even in difficult conditions.
- Resistance to mechanical damage: ensures long-lasting operation.
- Chemical resistance: enables use in various industrial environments.
- Easy core identification: thanks to numbering according to DIN VDE 0293-334.
- Safety: fire reaction class Eca minimizes the risk of fire spreading.
- Wide operating temperature range: allows use in harsh climatic conditions.
Additional information: the cable is available in grey (RAL 7001) and is supplied in metered lengths. A "cleanroom" version is also available, as well as the possibility of making cores in other colors or numbering.
