This grey PVC cable, designated OZ-500 2x2.5 mm², is a versatile solution for both professional installers and end-users. This cable is designed for control and power applications, offering reliability and flexibility in a wide range of applications. Black, numbered cores according to DIN VDE 0293-334 simplify identification and connection, minimizing the risk of errors during installation.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction based on a multi-wire core (class 5), providing high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. Core insulation made of PVC guarantees good electrical insulation and protection against mechanical damage. The outer jacket made of special PVC (TM2 according to DIN VDE 0207-363-4-1/DIN EN 50363-4-1) provides resistance to abrasion, chemicals and weather conditions. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation, making it suitable for use in various environments. Fire reaction class Eca provides additional safety in the event of a fire.

The OZ-500 cable is used in medium mechanical loads for flexible connections, especially in slowly moving systems without tensile stress. It is ideal for dry, wet and humid rooms (excluding open spaces). It is perfectly suited for control and measuring equipment in industrial devices. Thanks to the specially selected PVC mixture, it ensures quick and easy installation. Rated voltage 300/500V allows for a wide range of applications in electrical installations. Additionally, the cable is radiation resistant up to 80 x 106 cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad) and oil resistant, which increases its durability and reliability in harsh working conditions.
