Construction and properties

The OZ-500 cable features a construction consisting of four cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², made of stranded copper (class 5 or 6 according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60288 standards). Each core is insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), and the black cores are numbered according to DIN VDE 0293, which facilitates identification during installation. The protective core (if present) is yellow-green. The whole is surrounded by an external PVC coating (TM2), providing additional mechanical protection and resistance to external factors.

This cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (fixed installation) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible installation). It has a rated voltage of 300/500 V and a test voltage of 4000 V. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km. Thanks to this, the cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 and DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards. The fire reaction class is Eca, which means limited flammability and smoke emission.
