Flexible cable OZ-500 HMH is a reliable solution for applications in industry, construction and many other fields. Construction and properties

The OZ-500 HMH cable is constructed in accordance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11 standards. The copper conductors are multi-wire stranded (class 5 according to VDE 0295), providing high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. The insulation made of halogen-free TI6 mixture guarantees safety in case of fire – it limits the release of toxic gases and smoke. Black conductors are numbered with white digits, making identification easier during installation. The cable is covered with an outer layer of halogen-free TM7 polymer, which further increases its durability and resistance to damage.

It is worth noting the wide range of operating temperatures – from -40°C to +70°C (for fixed installation) and from -15°C to +70°C (for flexible mounting). In addition, the cable is characterized by high resistance to radiation up to 100 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad).

Application

The OZ-500 HMH cable is used as a control, measuring and monitoring cable in various industries: mechanical, metallurgical, steel and in construction. It will be perfect for conveyors, technological lines and in air conditioning installations. It can be used for both fixed and occasionally movable installations – provided there is no continuous mechanical stress. The cable is intended for use in dry, wet and humid rooms, also outdoors.

Thanks to its properties, this cable is particularly recommended where high fire resistance and the absence of toxic substances released during combustion are required – e.g. in public buildings or in places with increased fire risk.
