This shielded, halogen-free DATAFLAMM®-C-PAAR cable is designed for reliable data transmission in various applications. It is ideally suited for installations where fire safety is a priority, thanks to its outer jacket that does not emit toxic gases in the event of a fire. This cable is used in offices, server rooms, public buildings, laboratories, and shopping centers.

The DATAFLAMM®-C-PAAR cable is particularly recommended for transmitting digital signals, telephone transmissions, and in digital control systems. Polyethylene (PE) insulated conductors in combination with PVC provide optimal capacitance properties, resulting in high signal quality. Shielding in the form of a copper braid minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), guaranteeing stable data transmission.

• Ensures electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) – for optimal performance, it is recommended that the braid be in contact with the terminals on both sides.

The cable is characterized by a solid construction that ensures durability and reliability. It has 4 conductors with a cross-section of 0.25 mm², twisted in pairs for better interference reduction. The conductors are made of unannealed copper, which affects their flexibility and conductivity. Conductor insulation is made of polyethylene (PE), and the outer jacket is made of halogen-free HM2 material compliant with DIN VDE 0207 part 24. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 5.7 mm.
