Data transmission cable halogen-free – safety and reliability

This specialized DATAFLAMM®-C-PAAR cable is designed for data transmission in installations where fire safety is critical. The halogen-free outer jacket minimizes the risk of toxic gas emissions in the event of a fire, making it an ideal solution for public buildings, server rooms, offices and other facilities with increased requirements. This cable is also suitable for laboratories, shopping centers and anywhere where protecting health and life is important.

The DATAFLAMM®-C-PAAR cable is not only about safety, but also high-quality transmission. Twisted pairs of conductors with polyethylene (PE) insulation in combination with PVC provide excellent capacitive properties, minimizing interference and signal loss. A copper braid screen further protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC), guaranteeing stable and reliable data transmission.

Construction and application

This cable consists of four copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², twisted in pairs and insulated with polyethylene. The conductors are color-coded according to DIN 47100, which facilitates identification and correct connection. The whole is surrounded by a copper braid screen and a halogen-free outer jacket in gray (RAL 7005).
