This specialized halogen-free cable is designed for data transmission in various applications where maintaining safety and minimizing fire risk is crucial. It is ideal for digital installations, control systems, and public facilities. The shielded construction ensures stable signal transmission, resistant to electromagnetic interference.

Construction and application

The DATAFLAMM®-C-PAAR 2x2x0.5 mm² cable combines high-quality materials and thoughtful design. Four conductors with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², insulated with polyethylene (PE) and surrounded by a copper braid screen, guarantee reliable signal transmission. The halogen-free outer jacket minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire, increasing user safety. This cable is used in:

• office and server room installations,
• telecommunication systems,
• cabling of public buildings (hospitals, schools, hotels),
• laboratories and shopping centers,
• digital control systems and measurement technology.

• Resistance to external conditions: The cable can be permanently laid in damp and wet rooms and operated in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +70°C (after installation). During installation, the permissible ambient temperature is 5-70°C.
• Conductor identification: Colored conductors facilitate identification and connection of cables according to the installation diagram (according to DIN 47100 standard).
• Approximate outer diameter: 7.4 mm makes it easier to select appropriate mounting accessories.
