This specialized DATAFLAMM®-C-PAAR cable is designed for reliable data transmission in various applications. It features a construction that minimizes interference and meets stringent fire safety standards thanks to the use of halogen-free materials. Ideal for both professional installers and end-users where safety and signal stability are key.

Construction and application

The DATAFLAMM®-C-PAAR cable combines precision engineering and advanced materials. It consists of eight conductors (4 twisted pairs), each with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², providing sufficient current carrying capacity for typical transmission applications. The copper conductors, twisted in pairs, are insulated with polyethylene (PE) in combination with PVC, which affects excellent capacitive properties. The whole is surrounded by a copper braid screen, which effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference (EMC), guaranteeing stable data transfer. The halogen-free outer jacket provides additional safety in the event of a fire, minimizing the emission of toxic gases.
