This grey PVC cable OZ-500 with 18 cores of 1 mm² cross-section is a versatile solution for both professional installers and end-users. It is designed for medium mechanical loads and provides flexible connections in slowly moving systems where tensile stress does not occur. It is ideal for dry, wet and humid rooms (excluding open air), as well as for control and measuring equipment in industrial devices.

Construction and properties

The OZ-500 cable is characterized by a solid construction based on high-quality materials. Copper, stranded and flexible cores (class 5) ensure good conductivity and facilitate installation. Insulation made of PVC Z 7225 guarantees safe use, and the outer jacket made of special PVC TM2 protects the cable from mechanical damage and external factors. The cores are black with white numbers, which facilitates identification according to DIN VDE 0293. Additionally, the cable is resistant to oils and many chemicals.

Parameters and application

The OZ-500 cable is designed to operate in temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation. It has a rated voltage of 300/500 V and complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51. Its outer diameter is approximately 12.9 mm, which facilitates installation. Fire reaction class Eca provides additional safety in the event of a fire. This cable is metered, allowing for precise adjustment of the length to the needs of the installation.
