This blue, shielded flexible 500V OZ-BL-CY cable is a reliable solution for installations in potentially explosive areas. The cable is designed for demanding industrial applications where resistance to interference and safety are crucial. Thanks to its braided shielding construction, it minimizes the risk of electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in control and measurement systems.

Construction and application

This cable is intended for intrinsically safe installations in accordance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures long-lasting and safe operation. Multi-wire copper conductors class 5 (DIN VDE 0295 / IEC 60228) guarantee flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Conductor insulation made of PVC type Z 7225 provides good electrical insulation. The conductor insulation color – black with white numbers – makes it easier to identify individual wires.

The cable is used in areas at risk of explosion as a flexible control and measuring cable in control and measurement technology. It is ideal for installations in intrinsically safe systems (type -i-) in accordance with DIN VDE 0165-1 / DIN EN 60079-14 / IEC 60079-14, Section 16.2.2. Please note that it is not suitable for laying in the ground.
