This black, shielded flexible cable JZ-500-C is an ideal solution for connections requiring high flexibility and resistance to interference. Construction and properties ensuring durability

The JZ-500-C cable is characterized by a solid construction. Made of stranded copper wire (class 5), insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), it ensures long-lasting and reliable operation. Black cores with white numbers facilitate identification, and a yellow-green protective core (available from 3 cores upwards) increases safety. A screen made of tinned copper wires with approximately 85% coverage minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference on transmitted signals. The outer jacket made of PVC TM2 (DIN VDE 0207-363-4-1/DIN EN 50363-4-1) provides resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The cable is metered for convenient dispensing and minimizing waste.

Application and compliance with standards

This cable is perfect for medium mechanically stressed flexible installations where tensile stresses do not occur. It can be used both in dry and humid rooms and outdoors, avoiding direct contact with the ground or water. It is particularly recommended in mechanical engineering for control, signaling and measurement in production lines and conveyor belts. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51 and the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). Additionally, it is UV-resistant and oil-resistant and resistant to chemical compounds. The cable has passed PVC self-extinguishing and flame-retardant tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1.
