Power cable for submersible pumps – reliability and safety

This blue, four-core CLEAN CABLE power cable with a cross-section of 4G6 mm² is a specialized solution dedicated to powering submersible pumps, including those used for drawing drinking water. Designed for long-term and safe operation in harsh conditions, it meets stringent standards and has numerous certificates allowing it to come into contact with water intended for consumption.

Construction and application

The cable is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60502-1, which guarantees its high quality and reliability. Copper cores, cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation and an outer jacket made of cross-linked elastomer provide resistance to mechanical damage, chemical factors and prolonged exposure to moisture. Colored cores facilitate identification during installation, and compliance with DIN VDE 0293-308 / HD 308 S2 ensures correct electrical parameters. This cable can be used in drinking water up to a depth of 600 meters, as well as in chlorinated and ozonated swimming pool water at room temperature.

Safety and certificates

A key feature of this cable is its halogen-free construction – it releases minimal amounts of toxic gases during combustion, increasing safety in the event of a failure. It has a number of European approvals confirming its suitability for contact with drinking water: Polish PZH, German KTW, British WRAS, French ACS and Italian D.M.174. This guarantees that the cable does not negatively affect water quality and is safe for user health. In addition, this cable will also be suitable for installations exposed to contact with chlorinated or ozonated swimming pool water.
