The NSSHÖU cable stands out with its construction adapted for intensive use. Stranded copper core, EPR rubber insulation, and 5GM5 rubber outer jacket guarantee flexibility, resistance to atmospheric factors, and mechanical damage. Ozone resistance is particularly important, preventing insulation cracking and extending the cable's lifespan. Additionally, the cable is characterized by high insulation resistance and resistance to oils, greases, and chemicals. The use of a protective conductor (depending on the version) increases safety.

Application and compliance with standards

The NSSHÖU cable is widely used as a power cable in fixed and mobile installations. It is ideal for construction, mechanical engineering, and anywhere high mechanical and chemical resistance is required. However, it should not be used as a drum cable or in robotics or hand-held devices. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250 part 812 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. Fire behavior tests (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1) confirm its safety in the event of a fire hazard. The cable is also oil-resistant (DIN EN 60811-404).
