This yellow NSSHÖU 4G4 mm² rubber cable is a robust solution for powering devices in demanding conditions. Construction and properties
The NSSHÖU cable is characterized by high mechanical resistance and resistance to moisture, making it an ideal choice for outdoor installations. It is made of twisted copper conductors, insulated with EPR rubber (3GI3), which provides flexibility and long-lasting protection against ozone and cracking. Additionally, the outer rubber jacket (5GM5) provides resistance to abrasion, cuts, oils, greases, and chemicals. The yellow-green protective conductor (in the 4-core configuration) increases safety.
Application and parameters
This cable complies with DIN VDE 0250 part 812 and has a working voltage of 0.6/1kV. It can be used in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -25°C to +80°C in flexible mode. The permissible operating temperature of the conductor is +90°C. The minimum bending radius is 4x the cable diameter for fixed installations, 10x for flexible installations, and 15x for freely moving installations. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km. The cable has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and has passed fire behavior tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1.
