This single-core rubber cable, manufactured according to DIN VDE 0250-602, is a specialized solution designed for applications requiring high short-circuit resistance. Particularly recommended for installations exposed to overloads, such as rail vehicles, buses, trolleybuses, and low-voltage switchgear. This cable not only provides effective energy conduction but, above all, safety and continuous operation.

Construction and properties for professionals

The cable construction is based on several key elements: a multi-strand copper conductor (class 5 DIN VDE 0295), EPR insulation (type 3G13 according to DIN VDE 0207 part 20), and a polychloroprene (CR) jacket type 5GM3 according to DIN VDE 0207 part 21. This combination of materials guarantees flexibility over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C for stationary operation and from -25°C to +80°C for flexible operation. The maximum permissible operating temperature of the cable is +90°C. Additionally, the cable is resistant to oils (according to DIN VDE 0473-811-404/DIN EN 60811-404) and has flame-retardant properties (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1-2). It is important to note the minimum bending radius – 6x the cable diameter for stationary operation and 10x the diameter for flexible operation.
