Single-core silicone cable resistant to high temperatures SiD 1x0.75 mm² blue 46403
Silicone cable for extreme conditions
This single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in demanding environments where standard cables fail. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to high and low temperatures, making it an ideal choice for industrial applications, as well as in aviation or metallurgy. Made of tinned copper, insulated with silicone, it provides reliability and long-lasting operation.
Construction and properties
The HELUTHERM SiD cable stands out with a construction ensuring safety and durability. The copper core, with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², is insulated with high-quality silicone, which maintains flexibility even in extreme temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C). Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire and minimizes the emission of toxic substances. Resistant to oils, greases, diluted acids and alkalis, and UV radiation.
Applications and benefits
This cable finds wide application in industries requiring high resistance to temperature and external factors:
- Industry: steelworks, cement plants, glassworks, ceramics – everywhere where high temperatures or exposure to aggressive chemicals occur.
- Aviation: due to its flexibility and resistance to extreme conditions.
- Power plants: thanks to its halogen-free properties, it increases fire safety.
- Heating installations: ideal for connecting heating elements operating at high temperatures.
- Medical devices: where high chemical and thermal resistance is required.
By choosing this cable you gain:
- Safety: the absence of halogen in the insulation minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation during a fire.
- Durability: resistance to high temperatures and chemicals ensures long-lasting operation.
- Flexibility: facilitates installation and routing of cables in tight spaces.
- Compliance with standards: meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250 part 1 and 502 and IEC 60332-1-2 regarding fire safety.
- Versatility: The ability to choose the core color (in this case blue) makes it easier to identify wires in the installation – available color palette according to the key: 00-13 (green to pink).
