Halogen-free control and power cable HELUCONTROL® JZ-520-HMH LS0H

This halogen-free control cable, designated HELUCONTROL® JZ-520-HMH LS0H, is a reliable solution for installations in places with increased fire safety requirements. This cable is particularly recommended for buildings of Hazard to Life (ZL) character – office buildings, hospitals, schools, airports and other facilities where the protection of people is a priority. Its construction minimizes the emission of toxic gases and smoke in the event of a fire, protecting both people and sensitive electronics.

Application and structural features

The JZ-520-HMH LS0H cable is used not only in public buildings, but also in industry – machines, production lines, air conditioning systems and steel plants. It can be used in both fixed and flexible installations with medium mechanical stress. It is intended for operation in dry, damp and wet environments and for laying on surfaces.

The cable construction includes:

• Copper conductors: Multi-wire, flexible class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228.
• Conductor insulation: Made of halogen-free polymer mixture type TI7 according to DIN VDE 0207-363-7/DIN EN 50363-7.
• Conductor identification: Black conductors with white numbers according to DIN VDE 0293-308. Green-yellow protective conductor from 3 conductors upwards.
• Sheath: Made of halogen-free material type M1 according to DIN VDE 0207-363-0/DIN EN 50363-0, in grey color (RAL 7001).

Safety and compliance with standards

The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11 / DIN EN 50525-3-11 and is characterized by high fire resistance. It has a fire reaction class of B2ca according to EN 50575 (CPR). Additionally, it meets the requirements for low corrosivity of gases released during combustion (according to DIN VDE 0482-754-2/DIN EN 60754-2/IEC 60754-2) and low smoke emission (s1a). The cable is compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
