Flexible halogen-free control cable – safety and reliability

This flexible control cable JZ-520 HMH LS0H is a solution designed for installations requiring a high level of fire safety, especially in public places. The cable is characterized by low flammability and limited emission of smoke and toxic gases during combustion, making it an ideal choice for buildings of Hazard to People (ZL) character – office buildings, hospitals, schools, airports or stations.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of multi-strand copper conductors, surrounded by insulation made of a halogen-free polymer mixture. The conductors are twisted in layers, and the whole is covered with a halogen-free plastic jacket in gray (RAL 7001). The cable construction provides flexibility and ease of installation, as well as resistance to atmospheric and mechanical conditions. Additionally, the materials used in production do not contain silicone or cadmium, which minimizes the risk of corrosion and interference in the painting process.

Application and installation

The JZ-520 HMH LS0H cable is used as a control cable in machines, conveyor belts, production lines, as well as in air conditioning installations and automation systems. It can be used for both fixed and flexible laying with medium mechanical load. The minimum bending radius (12.5x cable diameter for flexible bending and 4x diameter for fixed laying) facilitates installation even in hard-to-reach places. The cable is metered, which makes it easier to precisely adjust the length to the needs of the installation.
