Flexible halogen-free control cable – safety and reliability

This flexible control cable JZ-520 HMH LS0H is a solution designed for installations requiring a high level of fire safety, especially in public places. The cable is characterized by low flammability and limited emission of smoke and toxic gases during combustion, making it an ideal choice for buildings of Hazard to People (ZL) character such as office buildings, hospitals, schools or stations.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed of multi-wire copper conductors, surrounded by insulation made of a halogen-free polymer mixture. The conductors are twisted in layers, and the whole is covered with a halogen-free plastic jacket in gray color (RAL 7001). This makes the cable not only safe in case of fire, but also easy to identify and install. Additionally, the cable is metered, which makes it easier to precisely adjust the length to the needs of the installation.

• Halogen-free: Materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances hindering painting.
• Temperature range: The cable maintains flexibility in the range of -15°C to +70°C, and with fixed installation withstands temperatures from -40°C to +70°C.
• Operating voltage: 300/500 V – standard voltage for control installations.
• Minimum bending radius: 12.5 x cable diameter for flexible installation and 4 x diameter for fixed installation – this ensures easy installation even in tight spaces.
• CPR class: B2ca-s1a, d0, a1 – high reaction to fire class according to EN 50575 standard guarantees safety of use.
• Oil resistance: The cable is resistant to mineral oils, which increases its durability in harsh industrial conditions.
