Residual current circuit breaker P312 2P B 10A 30mA TYPE AC DX3 410919
Differential-overcurrent circuit breaker P312 2P B 10A 30mA Type AC DX3 is a reliable device used for comprehensive protection of electrical installations. It combines the functions of an overcurrent and residual current circuit breaker, providing protection against the effects of overloads, short circuits and electric shock. It is a key safety element in every electrical circuit, both in residential and commercial buildings.
Protection and functionality
This two-pole (2P) circuit breaker with B characteristic and rated current of 10A is ideal for circuits exposed to short-term current surges, e.g. when starting motors or devices with heating elements. The B characteristic allows it to react more slowly to short current surges, therefore it tolerates starting devices with a motor well. The differential current of 30mA ensures a quick response in the event of a leakage current to earth, minimizing the risk of electric shock. Type AC means that the circuit breaker reacts to alternating currents with a frequency of 50Hz. The breaking capacity at 6kA guarantees effective disconnection of the circuit in the event of a short circuit.
Installation and compatibility
The P312 circuit breaker is mounted on a TH35 rail and occupies a width of 2 modules (35.6 mm). The cross-section of the connected conductors can range from 0.75 mm² to 16 mm² for solid conductors and from 0.75 mm² to 10 mm² for stranded conductors. The device has a mechanical lock, preventing accidental switching on after switching off due to a failure. It is compatible with the HX³ Energy Optimal Distribution System up to 125A and works with various auxiliary equipment, such as auxiliary contacts or undervoltage releases.
Additional features and parameters
The degree of protection is IP20 – provides protection against touching with a finger and solid objects with a diameter greater than 12.5mm. The operating temperature is in the range of -25°C to +70°C, which allows the device to be used in a wide range of ambient temperatures. The energy limitation class is 3 – provides adequate protection against the effects of electric arc. The circuit breaker is characterized by a rated impulse withstand voltage of 4kV – which means resistance to surge voltages. It also has a disconnectable N pole, ensuring complete disconnection of the circuit in the event of the circuit breaker tripping, and a current shock resistance of 0.25kA - increasing the durability of the device during sudden voltage surges. Halogen-free execution is safer for the environment and user health in the event of burning or fire.
