Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent Protection P312 2P B 25A 30mA TYPE AC DX3 410923
Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB) P312 DX³ is a reliable device combining protection against electric shock and overload. It is a key element ensuring the safety of electrical installations in residential and commercial buildings. By integrating two functions into one device, it allows for optimal use of space in the distribution board.
This two-pole switch, with a rated current of 25A and a differential current of 30mA, is designed to operate in AC circuits. Characteristic B provides a quick response to short circuits, while allowing for smooth starting of devices with motors that generate short-term current surges. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA guarantees effective protection against the effects of failures.
Construction and mounting:
The P312 DX³ circuit breaker is mounted on a TH35 rail, which facilitates its installation and replacement. Compact dimensions (2 module width) allow for efficient use of space in the switchgear cabinet. The device has a mechanical lock that prevents accidental switching on after switching off due to a failure. The cross-section of the connection cables is from 0.75 mm² to 16 mm² for solid conductors and from 0.75 mm² to 10 mm² for stranded conductors, ensuring compatibility with various types of installations.
Application and benefits:
- Versatility: Ideal for protecting lighting, socket and electrical appliance circuits in residential buildings, offices and other public facilities.
- Safety: Provides protection against electric shock and the effects of overloads and short circuits – protects people and property.
- Convenience: The built-in test button allows for regular checking of the correct operation of the residual current device.
- Compatibility: Compatible with the HX³ Energy Optimal Distribution System and a wide range of Legrand auxiliary equipment (auxiliary contacts, release devices).
- Durability: Made of high-quality materials, resistant to mechanical damage and weather conditions (operating temperature from -25°C to 70°C).
- Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of IEC/EN 61009-1 standards and has an IP20 degree of protection against contact with fingers and solid objects with a diameter greater than 12.5mm.
Additionally, the circuit breaker is characterized by high surge current resistance (0.25 kA) and has energy limitation class 3, which increases its reliability in the event of overvoltage. Its construction also ensures simultaneous disconnection of the N pole, which increases the safety level of the electrical installation.
