Characteristics and application

The P312 circuit breaker with characteristic B reacts quickly to an increase in short-circuit current, providing immediate disconnection of the circuit. This is particularly important in the case of loads with high inrush current, such as motors or transformers. AC type application means that the circuit breaker reacts to alternating currents with a sinusoidal waveform, which is standard in most electrical installations. Additionally, the presence of a lock prevents accidental switching on of the circuit breaker after it has been switched off by the protection. The rated breaking capacity of 6kA guarantees safe interruption of the circuit in the event of a short circuit.
