Application and properties
This welding wire is intended for welding using argon (Ar) shielding gas. It is characterized by high strength parameters: the yield strength Re reaches 530 N/mm², and the tensile strength Rm is 595 N/mm². The elongation at break (A5) is 26%, and the impact energy (KV) at -30°C is 70 J, which guarantees reliable connections even in difficult conditions.
Chemical composition and classification
The precise chemical composition of the wire – containing 0.1% carbon, 1.0% silicon and 1.7% manganese – ensures a stable welding process and repeatable results. The product meets the PN-EN ISO 1636-A standard and is classified as W 46 3W4Si1. Welding is carried out with direct current with the negative pole connected to the electrode. It is possible to work in all positions except vertical down.
