PEHD reduction fitting 110x75 – a reliable connection in the sewage system

This symmetrical, short PEHD reduction fitting 110x75 is a key element of the Geberit HDPE sewage system, allowing a change in pipe diameter from 110 mm to 75 mm. Made of high-quality polyethylene (PE-80), it ensures durability and corrosion resistance, which is particularly important in demanding installation conditions. Its black color facilitates identification within the system.

Durability and material resistance

The material used – high-density polyethylene (PE-80) – is characterized by high tensile strength and chemical resistance. This guarantees long-term and trouble-free operation even in an aggressive environment. The reduction fitting is resistant to the action of most standard bases, acids and chemicals (approximately 95%), making it an ideal solution for industrial, laboratory and commercial building applications. Additionally, the material is stabilized against UV radiation, allowing for longer-term outdoor storage without loss of properties.

Installation and application

The reduction fitting is designed for connecting pipes of different diameters in Geberit HDPE pressure drainage systems. Installation is carried out by butt welding or using electrofusion fittings – methods requiring specialized tools and skills. This ensures a tight and durable connection. The product finds application in:

It is worth remembering that the reduction fitting has a short construction (length 80 mm), which minimizes flow losses and facilitates installation in tight spaces. The wall thickness of the connections is 4.3 mm for a diameter of 110 mm and 3 mm for a diameter of 75 mm, providing adequate mechanical strength. The nominal diameters of the connections are DN 100 and DN 70. The working length of each connection is 30mm.
