Durability and material resistance

The material used – polyethylene (PE-80) – is characterized by high tensile strength and resistance to most standard bases, acids and chemicals (approximately 95%). Additionally, the material is resistant to UV radiation, allowing for safe storage of elements outdoors for a longer time. The wall thickness of the connections – 3.5 mm for the 90 mm socket and 3 mm for the 56 mm socket – guarantees mechanical strength and long-lasting tightness of the connection.

Application and installation

The reducer is intended for use with Geberit PE and Geberit Silent-db20 pipes and fittings, as well as with Geberit Silent-PP and Silent-Pro systems. The short construction (total length 80 mm, working length of connections 30 mm) facilitates installation in tight spaces. The connection is made by butt welding or using electrofusion fittings – appropriate machines and tools are required. This ensures a durable and leak-proof connection, guaranteeing trouble-free operation of the system for many years. The reducer is used in draining water from buildings, roof drainage, industrial installations and underground systems – also in concrete.
