Symmetrical PEHD reduction for Geberit drainage systems

This short, symmetrical PEHD reduction (reducer) with diameters of 56x40 mm, made of high-density polyethylene (PE-80), is used to connect pipes of different diameters in Geberit drainage systems. It is a key element when changing the cross-section of the installation, allowing for efficient wastewater drainage in buildings, industrial facilities and other applications. Its black color provides good visibility and identification in the installation.

Application and design features

The reduction is designed for butt welding, which ensures a durable and tight connection. Made of a material resistant to many chemical substances (approximately 95% of standard bases and acids) and UV radiation, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors. This makes it ideal for laying in the ground, concrete or in the open air. Its solid PE-80 construction guarantees high tensile strength and resistance to mechanical damage - drops, impacts or short-term pressure.

Installation and compatibility

Proper installation of the reduction requires specialized machines and tools for butt welding or the use of electrofusion fittings. The short construction facilitates installation in tight spaces. The reduction is compatible with the entire Geberit HDPE drainage system, allowing for the creation of complex and reliable installations. The working length of the connections is 30 mm, and the wall thickness of the connections is 3 mm. Nominal connection diameter 2 is DN40.
