This black, shielded flexible cable OZ-500-C with a cross-section of 1 mm² is a reliable solution for electrical connections requiring flexibility and protection against interference. The cable is designed for a wide range of applications, from installations in dry and humid environments to outdoor use – excluding direct laying in the ground or water. Thanks to the copper braid screen, it ensures electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), minimizing the risk of interference with device operation.
Construction and properties ensuring durability
The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on a multi-strand, flexible copper core (class 5). The insulation made of PVC Z 7225 guarantees good resistance to abrasion and chemicals. The cores are black with white numbers for easy identification, which is particularly useful during installation and servicing. Additionally, the cable is resistant to UV radiation and does not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The shielding braid covers approximately 85% of the surface, providing effective protection against electromagnetic interference.
Technical parameters and scope of applications
The OZ-500-C cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (with fixed installation) and from -15°C to +80°C during assembly. Its rated voltage U is 500 V, and the core/core test voltage is 4000 V. The minimum bending radius is 5x the outer diameter for fixed installation and 10x the outer diameter during dynamic operation. This cable is ideal for use in mechanical engineering, control systems, signaling and measurement systems in production lines and conveyor belts. It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) and has a fire class of Eca.
