This yellow NSSHÖU 10G1.5 mm² rubber cable is a reliable solution for powering high-power devices in demanding conditions. The cable is designed for both fixed and mobile installations where mechanical and weather resistance are crucial. It is suitable for construction, mechanical engineering, and anywhere devices operate outdoors.

The NSSHÖU cable is characterized by high flexibility thanks to the EPR rubber insulation, which provides long-lasting protection against ozone and cracking. The cable construction guarantees safe and efficient power transmission over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C for stationary operation and from -25°C to +80°C for flexible operation. The operating voltage is 0.6/1kV, and the maximum operating voltage for alternating current is 0.7/1.2 kV.

Construction and properties

The NSSHÖU cable is made of high-quality materials: stranded copper conductor (class 5), EPR rubber insulation (3GI3), and an external rubber jacket (5GM5). Protective conductors (yellow-green) are available in versions above 3 cores. The identification of working conductors is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0294-308 – color-coded up to 5 cores and black with white numbering from 6 cores upwards. Additionally, the cable is resistant to oil, grease and chemicals.

The NSSHÖU cable is used as a power cable for high-power devices in fixed and mobile installations. It is particularly recommended for outdoor use, where it is exposed to weather conditions and mechanical damage. However, it is not recommended to use it as a drum cable or in robotics and hand-held devices. The cross-section of 1.5 mm² makes it ideal for circuits with medium current loads.
