Highly durable power cable for demanding conditions
Rubber cable NSSHÖU 7G1.5 mm² in yellow color is a reliable solution for powering high-power devices, both in fixed and mobile installations. Designed for operation in harsh conditions, it is perfect for construction, mechanical engineering and everywhere devices operate outdoors. Its construction and materials guarantee long-lasting and safe operation.
Construction and properties
The NSSHÖU cable is distinguished by a solid construction, providing high mechanical and chemical resistance. Stranded copper conductors, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5 guarantee good conductivity. Insulation made of EPR rubber (3GI3) provides flexibility and protection against ozone - which translates to a longer cable life. A yellow-green protective conductor (in versions with a protective conductor) increases safety. An additional inner rubber layer (GM1b) and outer layer (5GM5) protect the cable from external factors. Conductor identification is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0294-308 - colored up to 5 conductors, and above 6 conductors - black with white numbering for easy identification during installation.
Applications and benefits
This cable is an ideal choice for professionals and end users looking for a reliable solution for:
- Powering devices in construction: resistance to moisture and mechanical damage makes it ideal on construction sites.
- Mechanical industry: resistance to oils, greases and chemicals ensures safe operation in harsh industrial conditions.
- Outdoor installations: resistance to ozone and UV radiation guarantees long-term operation outdoors.
- Mobile devices: the flexibility of the cable makes it easy to route and connect to moving machines and devices (with the proviso that it cannot be used as a drum cable).
Additional advantages include:
- Wide operating temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and -25°C to +80°C (flexible), allowing it to be used in different climates.
- High insulation resistance: minimum value of 20 MOhm x km ensures safe operation of the electrical installation.
- Compliance with standards: meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250 part 812 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU.
- Resistance to chemical factors: exhibits resistance to oils, greases and many chemicals, which increases its durability in specific working environments.
