Single-core silicone cable resistant to high temperatures SiD 1x0.5 mm² blue 46303
Special application silicone cable
This single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions, offering reliability and safety in demanding applications. The cable is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to external factors, making it an ideal choice for both professionals and end-users.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of a single-wire copper conductor with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², which ensures good electrical conductivity. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C) – and to many chemical substances, including oils, greases, alcohols, acids and alkalis. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire and minimizes the emission of toxic gases. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V.
Applications
SiD cable is widely used in industries requiring high thermal and chemical resistance. It will perform perfectly in:
- Metallurgy
- Aerospace
- Cement plants
- Glass and ceramics plants
- Power plants (due to the lack of halogen)
- Food industry (resistance to vegetable and animal fats)
- Heating installations
- High-temperature lighting
Thanks to its flexibility and durability, this cable is also ideal for use in mobile and portable devices. It meets the IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding fire resistance. The minimum bending radius of the cable is 15 times its outer diameter (2.2 mm), which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The cable is also characterized by high resistance to UV radiation.
