High-temperature silicone wire – flexibility and reliability in harsh conditions
This single-core silicone wire is a solution for demanding applications where standard cabling fails. It is characterized by exceptional flexibility and resistance to extreme temperatures, making it an ideal choice for industrial and specialized applications. The wire is designed for long-term and safe operation over a wide temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C in stationary mode, and even up to +180°C flexibly.
Construction and properties
The wire is made of a multi-strand, very flexible class 6 conductor, which provides excellent flexibility and facilitates installation even in tight spaces. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures, chemicals (oils, greases, acids, alkalis) and UV radiation. Additionally, the wire is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it limits the emission of toxic gases. The rated voltage is 300/500V. The outer diameter of the wire is approximately 4.6 mm with a conductor cross-section of 4 mm².
