Single-core silicone wire, resistant to high temperatures, very flexible SiFF 1x4mm² red 45702
Extreme application silicone cable
This exceptionally flexible silicone cable, designated HELUTHERM SiFF 1x4mm², is the ideal solution where standard cabling fails. Designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C – it performs well in demanding industrial conditions. Its construction ensures reliability and safety in applications where traditional cables degrade.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a stranded conductor of class 6, which guarantees high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Silicone insulation provides not only thermal resistance but also chemical resistance – the cable is resistant to oils, greases, acids and other aggressive substances. Importantly, it is a halogen-free cable, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it limits the emission of toxic gases. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500V, and the conductor cross-section is 4 mm². The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 4.6 mm.
Applications and benefits
The HELUTHERM SiFF cable finds wide application in various industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. It also works perfectly in power plants. Its flexibility makes it easy to install even in hard-to-reach places. Thanks to its resistance to high temperatures, it is indispensable in heating devices and near heat sources. Halogen-free makes it an ideal choice for facilities with increased fire safety requirements. In addition, the cable meets the IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding flame propagation.
