Special application silicone cable

This flexible single-core cable, manufactured using silicone technology, is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. It is characterized by exceptional flexibility and resistance to a range of chemicals, making it an ideal choice for demanding industrial applications. This cable complies with DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards, guaranteeing its safety and reliability.

Construction and properties

The SiFF cable stands out with a construction that ensures high flexibility even at low temperatures. The stranded wire class 6 provides good resistance to bending and twisting, which is crucial in dynamic applications. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures up to +180°C (stationary) and low temperatures down to -60°C. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – limiting the emission of toxic gases. The rated voltage is 300/500V.

The minimum bending radius is 12.5x the cable diameter for flexible bending and 5x the diameter for fixed laying. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 4.6 mm with a conductor cross-section of 4 mm².
