Special application silicone cable

This flexible single-core cable, manufactured using silicone technology, is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. It is characterized by exceptional flexibility and resistance to a range of chemicals, making it an ideal choice for demanding industrial applications. This cable complies with DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards, guaranteeing its safety and reliability.

Construction and properties

The SiFF cable stands out with a construction that ensures high flexibility even at low temperatures. The stranded wire class 6 provides good resistance to bending and twisting, which is crucial in dynamic applications. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures up to +180°C (stationary) and low temperatures down to -60°C. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – limiting the emission of toxic gases. The rated voltage is 300/500V.

Additionally, the cable exhibits resistance to oils, vegetable and animal fats, alcohols, diluted acids, alkalis and salt solutions – which expands the range of its potential applications. The minimum bending radius is 12.5x the cable diameter for flexible bending and 5x the diameter for fixed laying. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 4.6 mm with a conductor cross-section of 4 mm².
