Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant, very flexible SiFF 1x4mm² brown 45704
Silicone cable for demanding applications
This brown, single-core SiFF cable with a cross-section of 4mm² is a solution for installations where standard cables fail. It is characterized by exceptional flexibility and resistance to extreme temperatures, making it an ideal choice for harsh industrial conditions. Made of multi-strand, very flexible class 6 wire, it provides a reliable connection even with frequent bending.
Construction and properties
The cable is designed with safety and durability in mind. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures – both in stationary operation (up to +180°C) and flexible operation (up to +180°C), as well as to low temperatures (down to -60°C). The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500V, allowing its use in various electrical installations. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases fire safety – it meets IEC 60332-1-2 and DIN VDE 0482-754-1/DIN EN 60754-1/IEC 60754-1 standards. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 4.6 mm.
Applications and benefits
SiFF cable finds wide application in demanding industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. It will also be useful in power plants. Its resistance to oils, greases, alcohols and other chemicals allows it to work in an aggressive environment. Flexibility makes installation easier in tight spaces and dynamic applications. Thanks to its halogen-free properties, it minimizes the risk of toxic gases forming in the event of a fire – which is particularly important in public and industrial places. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards.
