This halogen-free HELUCONTROL® JZ-520-HMH-C LS0H control and power cable is a solution designed for places where fire safety is paramount. It is ideally suited for buildings with a high density of people – office buildings, hospitals, schools, airports or stations – where minimizing risk and emissions of toxic gases in the event of a fire is a priority. The cable is also perfect for industrial applications, in machines, production lines, air conditioning systems and steel mills.

The cable is characterized by high flexibility and can be used in both fixed and flexible installations. The construction with a screen provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which guarantees stable signal and pulse transmission. The screen coverage density of 85% minimizes the risk of interference.

Construction and properties

The JZ-520-HMH-C LS0H cable is made of high-quality materials that meet strict safety standards. The copper strands are flexible and multi-stranded (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), which facilitates installation and ensures durable connections. The core insulation is made of a halogen-free polymer mixture type TI7 (DIN VDE 0207-363-7/DIN EN 50363-7), which eliminates the emission of toxic gases during combustion. The cores are twisted in layers with an optimal pitch, and color identification (black cores with white numbers) makes them easy to distinguish according to DIN VDE 0293-308. The green-yellow protective core is located in the outer layer of the core (from 3 cores upwards).

Additionally, the cable has a winding of polyester foil and a screen in the form of a braid of tinned copper wires. The outer sheath is made of a halogen-free material type M1 (DIN VDE 0207-363-0/DIN EN 50363-0) in gray color (RAL 7001). The cable is metered and does not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that hinder painting.
